Through the Paws and Claws Puerto Vallarta virtual Pet Partner Program, you can symbolically adopt a rescue dog or cat and provide critical support for animals in need across Puerto Vallarta and surrounding communities. Your virtual adoption helps cover food, litter, medical care, and emergency veterinary treatment.
Note that this is a virtual adoption — your gift supports that animals care but does not involve bringing an animal home.

Browse the dogs and cats currently featured in our virtual adoption gallery. Each animal has a photo. Unfortunately, we don’t always know the background and story of each animal, but this reflects the many animals we help every day. - Select Your Adoption Level
Choose a one-time, monthly or yearly donation that fits your heart and budget. - Receive Your Adoption Certificate (for annual donations)
You’ll receive a downloadable digital adoption certificate by email — perfect for gifts, holidays, or honoring a loved one. - See Your Impact
Your generosity helps provide food, medical treatment, and lifesaving care to animals who would otherwise go without. You will receive regular updates on the progress of your adopted pet.
Giving Tiers
Tier 1: Shelter Supporter — $25 or $50 one-time donation
- Helps feed a dog or cat for an entire month
Tier 2: Shelter Champion — $25 or $50 monthly donation
- Helps feed a dog or cat for an entire month
- Covers routine vet needs
- Supports animals with special medical needs
- Receive photos every six months
Tier 3: Yearly Lifesaver Angel — $500 yearly donation
